Today, the general meeting of Festa - centers for sustainability took place and it took place at the University of Reykjavík, where Festa is based. As in previous years, JCI took over the management and writing of the meeting.
At the meeting, a new board was elected and the following members' representatives will make up Festa's board in 2023-2024
Þórólf, Málfríður and Kolbeinn are new members of the board.
At the beginning of the year, the University of Reykjavík appointed a new representative to the board, Bryndísi Björk Ásgeirsdóttir, but according to the company's bylaws, the university has a seat on the board since Festa is based in the school's premises.
Jón Geir Pétursson, Ægir Þórisson and Birta Kristín Helgadóttir step down from the board. It is not an exaggeration when we say that their contribution to Festa's work in the last few years has been invaluable and they deserve a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for their selfless work. Their great experience, insight and knowledge have supported the work and no less the growth of the company. We wish them all the best and look forward to continuing to work with them in the field of Festa and sustainability.
