Veg­vís­ir­inn um lög og regl­ur kynnt­ur fyr­ir stýri­hóp Sjálf­bærs Ís­lands

Festa og stýrihópur stjórnarráðsins um Sjálfbært Ísland hittust í síðustu viku þar sem Vegvísirinn sem Festa gaf út nýverið í tengslum við veigamiklar breytingar á sjálfbærnilögum og -upplýsingagjöf var kynntur fyrir hópnum.

The roadmap is the result of work among a number of experts inside and outside the Festa community and covers innovations in legislation, disclosure and methodology for responsible investments and sustainable operations, which affect financial institutions and companies of all sizes and types. These are historic changes that are intended to have a major impact for the benefit of the environment and society.

Icelandic companies need to prepare well for these changes and adapt quickly to them if we are to be competitive in a rapidly changing market environment. Festa will therefore continue to focus on these issues in the coming semester. The guide is accessible to everyone and can be accessed here.

Hlutverk Sjálfbærs Íslands er m.a. að hraða aðgerðum til að ná markmiðum um sjálfbæra þróun eins og þau birtast í Heimsmarkmiðum Sameinuðu þjóðanna og velsældaráherslum ríkisstjórnarinnar. Stýrihópurinn er skipaður með fulltrúum allra ráðuneyta auk fulltrúa frá Sambandi íslenskra sveitarfélaga.
