Dr. Bryndís Björk Ásgeirsdóttir is a professor at the Department of Psychology and Head of the Department of Community Studies at the University of Reykjavík. Bryndís has worked at Reykjavík University since 2005.

Bryndís led, among other things, the development of a master's program in clinical psychology, applied behavior analysis and a doctoral program in psychology at the university.

Bryndís has published a number of scientific articles in prestigious international scientific publications and has sat on a number of committees for associations, municipalities and ministries.

Bryndís completed a PhD in psychology at King's College in London in 2011, an MA in sociology at the University of Iceland in 2003 and a BA in psychology from the University of Iceland in 1999.
